NATURE AND SPIRIT

TRANSCENDENCE IN IMMANENCE

________________________________________________

According to Del Ñero: “Physics seeks the synthesis between two theories. What is very small becomes quantum. What is very large, relativistic. The dream, chimera perhaps, of quantum gravitational theory seeks to bring together what uncertain, that is, quantum, with what is relative, that is, the approach of the Theory of Relativity. In the middle of the path, that which unifies the small and the great, there is a stone: Man”.

As Friedrich Wilhelm Schelling said, “nature is visible spirit and spirit is invisible nature”. Here, in view of Schelling’s statement and our New Cosmology, corresponding to antimatter, we have the invisible nature or spirit, and to matter, we have the visible spirit or nature.

Immanuel Kant, on the other hand, confers two laws before nature and spirit: “Two things fill the mind with an ever new and increasing admiration and awe, the more often and steadily we reflect on them: the starry heavens above me and the moral law within me. I do not seek or conjecture any of them as if they were veiled obscurities or extravagances beyond the horizon of my vision. I see them before me and connect them immediately with the consciousness of my existence”. Now, starting from Kant’s statement, we can match consciousness in Kant to our cosmological consciousness.

From everything above, we conclude that Schelling performs the unification of spirit-matter, subject-object, at the level of the immanent. Kant, on the other hand, in view of the subject-object dichotomy, performs unification at the level of consciousness, at the level of the transcendent.

Now, the man, revealed by Del Ñero, in fact, according to Schelling and Kant, above, and with our proposal of the “cosmology of consciousness”, ceases to be an obstacle, “a stone in the way”, to become, himself, the way itself.
